Fayette County Leader, Thursday, 3 June 1943.

Mrs. Mary Follen, about 95, died Saturday at the home of her son, Leo Follen, West Union druggist. She has been ill for a long time, and had been blind for 14 years. She came to Fayette county in 1874 with her husband and they lived near Randalia for many years. Besides her son, three daughters survive. They are Mrs. P. N. Sinnott, Randalia; Mrs. Edward Drey, Iowa Falls, and Mrs. Nellie Hoye, Minneapolis.
