Peter DeDeco, 61, Dies At Hospital, Services Thursday

Thursday rites will be conducted for Peter Amedeo DeDeco, 61, who died at Mercy hospital Tuesday.
The 9 a.m. rites will be conducted at Sacred Heart church, the Rev. P.J. Maguire officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Mr. DeDeco is survived by a brother, Joseph, in Italy, and a brother-in-law, Peter Greco, Oelwein.
He was born July 20, 1893, in Terravecchia, Italy, the son of Frank and Maria Rosa Bafero DeDeco. He had been a resident of Oelwein the past 27 years and before that, resided in Omaha. His address in Oelwein was 111 7th Ave. N.W.
The retired Chicago Great Western laborer was married in Italy to Rosa Lettieri.
The rosary will be recited tonight (Wednesday) at 8:15 at Brant funeral home.
