Elgin Echo, Thur., 24 Sept. 1903.

Jefferson Prouty, an aged and respected citizen of Wadena, died at his home in that place Wednesday of last week. He was an old settler and well and favorably known to a large number of people. Interment was made in the Wadena cemetery Friday.
