On Wednesday morning at 3:00 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Jas. Carmichael. The funeral was held today, Thursday, at the Volga Presbyterian church. Burial in the Volga cemetery.

Wal Humphrey and wife, of Fayette and Mrs. Crowe, of West Union, are here on account of the sickness and death of Mrs. Jas. Carmichael.

~Notes: Volga cemetery is aka Hillcrest cemetery, the burial list shows Lucinda Carmichael died 2/8/1911. The obit of her husband James H. Carmichael, gives her maiden name as Miller.
