Funeral services for David Henry Fox, 81, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. at Brant funeral home, the Rev. Alfred Waln, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating.
Mr. Fox, a retired Chicago Great Western railway employee, died Thursday at 8:15 p.m. at his home at 110 8th Ave. S. W.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ella Peterman; two sons, Dean, Oelwein and Luman, Arlington and one daughter, Edith, Mrs. Herbert Doudney, Oelwein. He was proceeded in death by one son Dale, in 1936.
Mr. Fox was born at Arlington, Feb. 10, 1878, the son of George Henry and Clara Graves Fox. He had resided in Oelwein the past 31 years.
Burial will be in Taylorville cemetery at Arlington.
The body lies in state at Brant Funeral Home.
