OBITUARY OF MRS. LESTER CRAIN

Mrs. Lester Crain was born at Arlington, Sept. 18, 1907, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Voshell.

Mr. and Mrs. Crain were married on Aug. 22, 1929. After their marriage they lived for a short time at Cedar Rapids, returning to Fayette county, where they have made their home since.

Five children were born to them: Harold and Ivan, both of Elgin; Lucile and Merlin, at home; Linda (Mrs. Robert Johnson) Clermont.

Mrs. Crain was baptized on Jan 9, 1946, She affiliated herself with the Assembly of Christians, West Union. She died at the Palmer Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Survivors include her husband, five children, her father, five sisters, on brother, 11 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Crain were held at 2p.m. Friday, Oct 25 at the Muehlethaler Funeral home, with burial in the Brainard Cemetery.
