Arlington - Clara Adeline Cross was born at Brush Creek, Iowa, November 13, 1868 and passed away the morning of October 29, at the age of 76 years 11 months, and 16 days. She spent her entire life in and around Arlington, Iowa.

At the age of 18 she was united in marriage to Samuel Wilson. To that union were born four sons.

On Janaury 5th, 1903, she was united in marriage to John Welsh and to that union were born two daughters. One, Mary Louise, preceeded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her death her children: Gilbert of Canada; Charles of Minnesota; James of Milton, Kansas; Walter of Richmond Mo.; and Hattie Harriman of Waterloo; also ten grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Gleim Funeral Home, Rev. C. Lee conducted the service. Interment was made in the County Corners cemetery.
