Rites Held For C. M. Kneeland Clermont-Services for C. M. (Clem) Kneeland. 66, were held Saturday at 9:30 a. m: in, St. Peter's Church in Clermont. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rosary was recited at 8:00 p. m.. Friday at the family home. The Schutte Funeral Home at Postville was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Kneeland died Thursday in University Hospitals at Iowa City after an illness of two weeks. He would have been 67 years old December 31. For 14 years he was manager of the Clermont Co-op and operated the Clermont Grind and Feed Elevator for 13 years. He retired about nine years ago. Surviving are his wife; a son, Ralph stationed with the army at Ft. Dix. New Jersey; a daughter. Ellen of Clermont: two brothers including W. A. Kneeland of Postville and four sisters.
