Perry O. Fleming
Funeral services for Perry Oscar Fleming were held at the Arlington Methodist Church Friday. The Rev. Walter Dimmick was the officiating clergyman. Rev. W.H. Seeley sang.Perry Fleming was born in Clayton county near Edgewood, May 11, 1878 and passed away at the Oelwein Hospital December 9, 1952 at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 28 days. He was united in marriage to Louise Lighty at Highmore, South Dakota. He moved to Arlington in 1933 and has made his home near or in Arlington ever since. He is survived by his wife and three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Dietrick, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Margaret Rulon, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Ella Barr, Arlington. Burial was in Asbury Cemetery near Edgewood.
