ARLINGTON --
The death of Mrs. Sarah Jones of
this city occurred last Friday morning
of old age. She had only been sick a
short time and was seventy eight
years of age. The body was taken to
Fayette Sunday where funeral services
were held; the body was laid to rest in
the cemetery there. She leaves four
sons and one daughter to mourn her
loss, Mrs. Carter of Nora Springs,
John, of this city, George, of Hawkeye.
Charles, of Des Moines, and Pheble,
of Dakota, all were here at the funeral.
