Mrs. Henry Barnholt died at her home on Wednesday
evening, May 11th, 1898, aged 48 years and 5
months. Her husband, eight children, aged father
and brothers and sisters as well as many friends, are
left to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother,
a loving daughter and sister. She was a consistent
Christian and member of the M. E. Church. The
funeral at the M. E. church on Friday was largely
attended. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
Her aged father came from Missouri to attend the
funeral. The sympathy of the entire community goes
out to the bereaved ones.

Joe Brown spent two days here last week, being
called here by the death of his sister, Mrs. Henry
Barnholt. He returned to his home in Missouri on
Saturday.
