Isiah C. Zachary, 76, died at the
University hospital in Iowa City
Sunday, Feb. 3, after he had been
there for a week.
Mr. Zachary, a retired railway
chef, was a member of the REGISTER'S
Three Quarter Century
club and had attended both of its
annual dinners.
His body will lie in state at the
Brant Funeral Home until hour of
funeral. Complete arrangements
are pending. Tentative plans include
services at the First Church of Christ
with Rev. R. L. Ervin officiating.
Mr. Zackary is survived by three
brothers, J. M. Zackary of Oelwein,
with whom he made his home at 503
Fourth Avenue, NE; W. W. Zackary
Buffalo, NY and W. H. Zackary, Pine
Bluff, Ark.
Born the son of Wyatt and Nancy
Robinson Zackary, May 9, 1875 at
Pine Bluff, Ark. Mr. Zackary had spent
the past 16 years in Oelwein.
