Ernest Carl Kirk was born at Salem,
Ohio, May 7, 1876, living at that
place, Wheeling Va., and Auburn Cal.
until 1893 when he went St. Paul Minn,
to complete his education.
He then engaged in newspaper work
at Cumberland, Wis., where he met
and married Miss Blanche Guiliford;
moving to Pittsville, Wis., he edited
paper.
In 1897 it became apparent that
consumption was making inroads ....
health and a trip to New Mexico,

Mrs. Wm. M. Gulliford, reside. ..........

The funeral was held on Sunday,
December 4, present at which, in addition
to his wife's family and immediate friends,
were his uncle R. A. Kirk, St. Paul and his
sister Miss Blanch Kirk of Cleveland, Ohio.
His brother, H. F. Kirk of San Francisco, Cal.
and Clifford Kirk at present in London, were
unable to be present, but the latter spent
a short time with his brother when on his
way east a few weeks since.
