Mrs. George Edgington 1849-1908

The death of Mrs. Geo. T. Edgington,
formerly of this city, occurred
Tuesday morning at the family home
in Waterloo. She was well known in
this vicinity, and many friends extend
sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
She was born in Hancock county,O.,
June 30. 1849. and moved with her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ellis to
this county when but a small child.
She was married to George Edgington.
at Raymond. Nov. 22, 1868. Besides
the husband she leaves to mourn the
loss of wife and mother, three children
Dr G. H. Edgington, Miss Mae
Edgington and Fred Edgington, all
residents of Waterloo. Three sisters.
Mrs' Charles Bingham, of Waterloo,
Mrs. Emma Cain, of Redfield. Calif.,
and Mrs. Minnie Foster, of Blackwell,
Okla. and two brothers, Edward T.
Ellis, of Cedar Falls and William Ellis,
of Waterloo. The last services occurred
Wednesday morning at 10
clock from the home, Rev. E. D.
Hall,the pastor of the M. E. church of
which she was a member, conducting
the services.
