Collins A. Finch, 87, Lakeview
Trailer Park, Oelwein, died
Sunday morning, June 28 at the
Hillcrest Home in Sumner.
He was formerly a banker at
Westgate State Savings Bank, a
World War I army veteran and a
member of the American
Legion. He had moved back to
Oelwein from Watsonville,
Calif., in 1983.
Funeral services will be 10:30
a.m. Wednesday at the Brant-
Kerns-Jamison Funeral Home.
Rev. Carroll Brown will officiate.
Burial will be at Bethel
Cemetery, Alpha.
Survivors are a nephew, Lee
Coleman of Oelwein, and a
niece, Onalee Oakes of Randalia;
and two cousins.
He was preceded in death by
his wife Viola (Gallup), who
died in 1984, his parents, four
brothers and a sister.
