A 57-year resident of Westgate, Theodore Fratzke, 83, died at Mercy Hospital Tuesday evening.
He had been a patient there for the past five weeks.
Mr. Fratzke, a member of the Oelwein Daily Register Three Quarter Century club, was a retired
contractor and builder.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 12, 2 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran church, Westgate, with the
Rev. Donald Berg of Peace Lutheran church, Oelwein, and the Rev. 0. C. Schultz, Guttenberg, officiating.
Burial wiil be in St. Peter Lutheran cemetery, Westgate. The body will be at the Hintz Funeral home in
Oelwein, where friends may call after 7 p m. Thursday.
Mr. Fratzke is survived by two sons: Ralph, who made his home with him, and Edgar of Lodi,
Calif.; two daughters, Ruth, Mrs. Gerald Miller, Creve Coeur, Mo.,
and Dorothy, Mrs. Charles Duhfkopf, Albert Lea. Minn. A sister, Mrs. Glen Lambert, Fairbank, five
brothers. William of Jesup. Leo, Mason City, 111., Paul, Fairbank, George, Aberdeen, S.D. and Otto,
Oelwein and five grandchildren also survive.
