Funeral services were held 11 a.m., today, Tuesday at the Zion
Lutheran Church in Oelwein for Louis J. Gosse, 56, a lifetime
resident of Oelwein who died Saturday at his home.
Burial is in the Woodlawn cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Adele (Graf) Gosse; one daughter,
Sheryl Gosse of Independence; a son, Richard, of Oelwein; three
sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Esther) Fink of Oelwein, Mrs. Kenneth (Ruth) Nibeck
of Waterloo and Mrs. Arthur (Bertha) Dohse of Oelwein; three
brothers, August of Waterloo, William of Independence and
Alfred of Oelwein and three stepbrothers, (half-brothers) Art Gosse of Canada, Charles
Gosse of Brainerd, Minn., and Herb Gosse of Hudson.
