HILL. —Harriet Allen was born
August 9, 1852, in Canada, was married
in Illinois to Mr. Jared Hill, Feb.
20th, 1881. Moved to Iowa the same
year and settled on the farm northeast
of town, where she died March
12th, 1895, at the age of 43 years, 1
month and 3 days. She was a kind,
loving and faithful wife, esteemed by
all who knew her. She leaves a husband,
two step children, to whom she
was always a loving mother, five sisters,
four brothers, and a large circle
of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral
was held March I8th.
