RADCLIFFE — Harold (Hal)
McLeish Jr., Radcliffe, formerly of
Oelwein and Waterloo, died Wednesday,
July 28, at Mary Greeley
Medical Center, Ames, of lung cancer
He was 64.
Memorial services were at 10 a.m
Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran
Church, Radcliffe, and at 2:30 p.m.
Saturday at Immanuel Presbyterian
Church, Waterloo. There was no
visitation and the body was cremated
Parrott and Wood Funeral Home
handled arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the
family.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie;
his mother, Donna McLeish; three
sons, Marc McLeish, Faribault, Minn.;
Chris McLeish, Columbia Station,
Ohio; and Mike McLeish, Owatonna
Minn; and a daughter, Rebecca
McLeish, Seattle; two stepsons, Rod
Reinertson, Waterloo, and Randy
Reinertson, San Antonio, Texas; and a
stepdaughter, Darcy Widmann, Ottumwa;
16 grandchildren; and a sister,
Beverly Smith, Oelwein. he was
preceded in death by his father.
Mr. McLeish was born July 13,1929 in
Maynard the son of Harold Sr. and
Donna Waters McLeish. He married
Betty Luther Aug. 15, 1948 and they
were later divorced. He married
Marjorie Rinker Sept. 5, 1964 in
Preston, Minn.
He worked at Rath Packing Company
for 35 years and was a receiving clerk
for many years at Land O'Lakes in
Ellsworth.
