Mr. James Cannon Died Last Night

Mr. James Cannon, Sr., aged 76 years, died at the home of his son, Mr. Patrick Cannon, 217 Second Avenue SE, at 7:30 last night. He has been in ill health for the past six months. He leaves to mourn his death two sons, Patrick and Thomas, and three daughters, Mrs. Callice (sic) of Kansas City, Kas., Mrs. Bert Williams of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Mary Costello of Great Falls, Mont., as well as many other relatives and friends. The body was taken to the Brant funeral home, and from there it will be taken back to the son's home where this evening the rosary will be recited. The body will lie in state at the home until the hour of the funeral which will be held at Sacred Heart church at 9:30 Wednesday morning. Burial will be at the Woodlawn cemetery.
