Funeral services will be
Wednesday, June 7, 2 p.m., at the
Brant funeral chapel for Mrs.
Florence Harkin, 76, 414 5th Ave.
S.W. at Roberts Nursing Home,
Oelwein. She was a retired
housewife.
The Rev. Melvin Roy will officate
with burial at Floral Hills.
The body will lie in state at the
Brant funeral home after 10 a.m.
Tuesday.
Survivors include a son, Harold
Harkin, Oelwein, two daughters,
Mrs. O.L. Soper, Mrs. Dale
Mclntosh, both of Oelwein; four
sisters, Mrs. Roy DeBow,
Oelwein; Mrs. Bob Attwolf, Fort
Dodge; Mrs. Edna Dunn,
Strawberry Point; Mrs. Pearl
Nading, Randalia; a brother
Velma Miles, California; 18
grandchildren and 38 great
grandchildren. Mrs. Harkin was
a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
