Samuel Fauser, after a short illness, died Friday at 1 o'clock and was buried Sunday afternoon, October 16.
Obituary: Samuel L. Fauser was born in Albany, Iowa, Oct. 31, 1866, the son of John and Louise Fauser. His youth and the days of his schooling were spent in the place of his nativity. He was married Aug. 22, 1906 to alias Rose May McNaul. Their home since marriage has boon in Fayette.
Mr. Fauser's occupation has been that of a carpenter, but in the intervals of this employment he has worked at the weaving of rugs and carpets. This he had learned from his father whose trade it was at Albany for years. Impaired health did not cause Mr. Fauser to become idle, but he continued to labor, and was working up the house recently the home of Mrs. Mary Carpenter, when rheumatism from which he had previously suffered attacked the heart and accompanied as it was by paralysis of one side of his body, and he was obliged to be helped from the roof of the house by others. Taken to his home and receiving medical attention of his family he lived until six o'clock of that day, Friday.
Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday afternoon by Rev. D. M. Parker. The singers were Prof. and Mrs. J. W. Cram. Interment was in Grandview. The bearers were Myrton Hutchinson, Leslie Fauser, James Hutchinson, L. E. Palmer, Arthur and Peter Fauser.
