Ruby Mae Maas was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 2, 1889, and died in that city on December 9, 1936 following an illness of more than two years. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lampin.
On November 21, 1923 she was united in marriage to Joe Maas of Oelwein. She is survived by five children by a former marriage Mrs. Roy Lindstrum, Mrs. Charles Bruse, Mrs. Leslie Wetherbee. Miss Ethel Green, Mr. Howard Green. Also left to
mourn her loss are her husband, her mother, Mrs. Robert Kane, three sisters, Mrs. Charles Blaseh
of Waterloo, Mrs. William Fink of Oelwein, Mrs. W. W. Gehm of Louisville, one brother, Mr. Frank Lampin of Louisville, Kentucky and five grand children.
Funeral services were held in Oelwein on Tuesday, December 15, with Rev. McClurg of the Christian Church officiating.
Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery.
