Ira Shippy, living on a farm southeast
of here, died Saturday evening
May 11, after an illness of blood
poisoning, which resulted from a
barbwire scratch on his hand. Mr.
Shippy was about fifty-one years old
and was married to Miss Pearl Pratt
less than two years ago.
