KING, VAN MATRE, MCKINLEY, DAILY

Funeral services will be held at
2 p. m. Wednesday at Hintz funeral
home for John.D. King, 53, Dr.
M. B. Green officiating. Burial will
be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Mr. King, a switchman for the
Chicago Great Western railway,
died at his home at 304 1st St.
S.E., Sunday at 3 p. m.
He is survived by his wife, Elizbeth,
and a daughter, Margaret,
both of Oelwein. Also three brothers,
William, Frank and Henry
King, all of Unionville, Mo., and
two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Van Matre,
Rockford, Ill.., and Mrs. Ronald McKinley,
Unionville, Mo.
Mr. King was born Oct. 8, 1903,
at Unionville, Mo., the son of Harland
and Maggie Daily King. He
had resided in Oelwein since 1936.
The body lies in state at Hintz
funeral home.
