Services will be held Wednesday.
August 5, for Mrs. Helen Loveland, 57, of 102 South Frederick.
Mrs. Loveland died Sunday at Allen
Memorial Hospital, Waterloo.
The Rev. Fidelis J. Kaufman will
officiate at the 10 a.m. services
at Sacred Heart church. Burial will
be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Mrs. Loveland is survived by
three daughters, Mrs. Lorraine
Durkin, Mrs. Audrey Murphy, and
Mrs. Jeaneen Borkstrom, all of
Chicago; two sons, Patrick and Terry,
both of Chicago; 11 grandchildren;
one sister, Mrs. Louis Gremmels,
Oelwein and one brother, Frank Gelz,
Maywood, Illinois. Her husband Fay,
preceded her in death.
She was born March 10, 1907 in
Germany, the daughter of Frank and
Mary Todd Gelz. She had been employed
as a switchboard operator for the
Chicago Great Western railway.
