Obituary- Miss Clara Davidson was
born August 8, 1870, in Stanwood,
Iowa, and died at her home near Stanley
September 3, 1921, after a protracted
illness. She was united in marriage
to Albert Hillman August 24, 1892.
She was the mother of six children,
five boys and one girl, all of
whom survive her, save one, the eldest
boy Linton having passed away
about two and a half years ago. She
was converted and joined the United
Presbyterian Church in her early girlhood
days and has lived a consistent
Christian life until summoned by the
death messenger. After their marriage
Mr. and Mrs. Hillman moved to their
farm near Stanley where by united
effort they built up a beautiful and
substantial home where they reared
their happy family. Their long residence
her won for them a wide circle
of friends as was evinced by the very
large company that gathered to bear
away the remains of the departed loved
one. Besides the immediate family Of
the deceased there are still living,
three brothers and three sisters. The
funeral took place from the home on
Monday, Sept. 5, at two o'clock p. m.
and was conducted by the Rev. Foote
of Hazleton. Her body was committed
to the ground in the beautiful Otsego
cemetery to await the final waking of
the dead.
