Lib-Inez Bratt Sprague 1871-1938

Lib-Inez Sprague was born on a farm south and west of Randalia on January 1, 1871. She was the oldest daughter of William and Electa Bratt. She was a member of the Woman's Relief Corps for over three years. She lived in this community practically all of her life. She was married to Lewis I. Sprague January 1, 1891. To this union was born two children, Lloyd Lewis and Clair William. She was baptized and received into the Latter Day Saints church. She was preceded in death of her husband, also her father and mother. She had been in poor health for several years.

After the death of her husband she did practical nursing. She was known throughout the community as Aunt Lib, especially by a good many of the sixty odd babies she cared for. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors in time of need. She leaves to mourn her loss, her two sons and their wives, Lloyd and Frieda and Clair and Lydia and a grandchild Betty Louise, one brother, Arthur Bratt and two sister, Mrs. Henry Shoger of Princeton, Kansas and Mrs. Ben Turner of Randalia. Burial was made in Dunham's Grove cemetery.
