Herbert R. Rathbun passed away Saturday night at 9:30 o'clock at his home at 525 Fifth Avenue, S. E., at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. J. C. Clark of Kilgore, Nebraska; Mrs. T. G. Scholl of Rapid City, South Dakota; Miss Kizzie Rathbun at home and one son, Rex Rathbun of Olin, Iowa.

The body will lie in state at the Hintz Funeral Home until hour of funeral services to be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the funeral home with Rev. Gillespie, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be made at Otsego Cemetery.
