Funeral services for Twilight Quario, 53, of West Union, Iowa, formerly of Oelwein, were held Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with the Rev. Charis Combs-Lay officiating. Interment was in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein.

Twilight died Thursday morning, Oct. 25, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, after a long illness.

Twilight Marie Quario was born Oct. 5, 1954, in Oelwein to William LaVerne and Dorothy Ella (Gowers) Quario.

She attended Oelwein schools. After receiving her certified nursing degree, Twilight worked at several area nursing homes. She had worked at Maple Crest Manor in Fayette for the past five years.

Twilight was preceded in death by her father, Bill Quario.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Quario of Oelwein; four daughters, Salenia (Tim) Bodley and Shelley (Darrick) Brehm, both of Hawkeye, Shawna (Shane) Warnke and Destiny Quario, both of West Union; and seven grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Bill (Judy) Quario Jr. of Barneveld, Wis., Robert (Diane) Quario of Waterloo and Randy (Lynn) Quario of Hazleton; a sister, Dorothy Davis of Oelwein; many nieces and nephews.
