Hold Rites For Lawrence Horan

Funeral services for Lawrence A. Horan, 65, were held Monday, May 19, 1980 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clermont. The Reverend Karl Klein officiated. Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements with burial in St. Peter's cemetery, Clermont.

Lawrence A. Horan, son of Willam and Catherine (Shea) Horan, was born June 6, 1914 in Clermont. He died May 16, 1980 at Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wis.

June 2, 1936 he married Anna Francys Raftis. They farmed in the Clermont area their entire married life.

Preceding him in death are his parents; two brothers, Richard and Donald; and two sisters, Arlene Horan and Mrs. Raymond (Irene) Paulson.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Frank, Castalia; a daughter Mrs. Gary (Patricia) Makovec, Holy Cross; five grandchildren, Stephen, Staci and Sondra Horan, Michael and Mark Makovec; and a brother, Francis W. Horan, West Union.
