Oelwein, Ia. -- Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Alice McCunniff, 81, were held Sunday afternoon at the Brant Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. W. Gillespie, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was in the Fairbank Cemetery.

As Ida Alice Yundt, she was born in Cook County, Illinois, on May 18, 1857. When seven years old, she came with her family to a farm near Fairbanks, in Buchanan County, where she lived until her marriage on Aug. 15, 1874 to Peter McCunniff. The couple made their home at Fairbanks until the death of Mr. McCunniff on Dec. 12, 1927. Since that time Mrs. McCunniff made her home in Oelwein with her daughter, Mrs. W. B. Doran. She died Friday night after an illness of six years.

Surviving besides her daughter are one son, John of Grennell; and two brothers, Thomas Yundt of Franklin, Mo., and Jacob Yundt of Denver, Col.
