LEBANON; Mo. - Funeral services for Lola Monnahan of Lebanon, Mo., and formerly of Oelwein, will be 10:30 am. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Holman Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery, Lebanon.
Mrs. Monnahan, 85, died Sunday morning, Dec. 14, 1997, in Lebanon after a lengthy illness.
She was born June 24, 1912, the daughter of R.A. and Chloe (McFarlane) Bartholomew. She married Paul Monnahan on April 25, 1931. She and her husband operated the Kaiser-Frazer dealership north of Oelwein for many years. They moved to Missouri in 1953 where they farmed until 1970.
Survivors include four daughters, Erma Jean (Delbert) Graf of Oelwein, Margery (Robert) Dierks of Grove Springs, MO., Donna Monnahan of Farmington, N M., and Marilyn (Terry) Voorhies of Odessa, Texas; one son, Robert (Sharon) of Lebanon, Mo.; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; one son, Paul "Bud"; and three sisters.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
