Died - At her home in Westfield township, Fayette County, Susan Proctor, June 4, 1898, aged 73 years, 3 months, 26 days.

Susan Collins was born in Portage county, Ohio, February 5, 1825, married Nathan R. Proctor December 2, 1850. He was a widower with two children. They removed to Fayette county in July 1854. Nathan Proctor enlisted in Co. G, 38th Infantry, August 1862, died September 3, 1863, leaving his wife and two children. Susan Proctor was a kind, loving and faithful mother. The daughter, Mrs. E. J. Bratt, died November 11, 1867, leaving only the son, Daniel Proctor with whom she has always resided. Of the Collins family, three brothers are living. They reside in Portage County, Ohio.

The funeral services were conducted Sunday by Rev. Will.
