Died at the home of her son A. G. near Stanley, January 17, 1898, Mrs. Judy Brownell, aged 73 years. Mrs. Brownell was a good woman, beloved by all who knew her, a devoted wife and mother, faithful Christian, and a member of the Union Church. She leaves two sons, Albert of Stanley and George of St. Joe, Missouri and many other relatives and friends to mourn her loss but their loss is her greater gain. So sudden was the call, she was gone before we seemed to realize that death was so near. The whole community join in their sympathy with the bereaved family. Funeral was held at the church Wednesday a. m., services conducted by Rev. Leonard of Hazleton. She was laid to rest in the Otsego burying grounds.
