Locate in Cresco.
Married, at 9 o’clock on Thursday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Bailey, their daughter, Miss S. Maud Bailey and Reuben Strayer, both of Fayette. The ceremony was performed by Rev. G. H. Kennedy in the presence of only the immediate families. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bailey, and grew to womanhood among us, graduated from the high school, and was a successful teacher of the public schools of the county. The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Strayer, who live on a farm south of town and grew to manhood among us. Both have many friends who extend congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Strayer left on the 10:20 train for Minneapolis for a short visit and then will return to Cresco, where they will be at home to their many friends, as Mr. Strayer is to enter business in a manufacturing establishment at that place in company with his cousin, L. A. Strayer. - Fayette Cor. West Union Argo.
Mr. and Mrs. Strayer have rented a home in the east part of town and have commenced housekeeping. Mr. Strayer will take the place in the E. C. Strayer & Son’s tinshop, made vacant by the retirement of E. C. Strayer, who however, has not disposed of his Cresco property and intends to remain here.
