At West Union last week Mrs. R. G Anderson of Oelwein was granted a divorce from her husband. Mr. Anderson is the county attorney for Fayette. Mrs. A is also a licensed attorney and they were doing business as a law firm. She is a very bright woman, and will be remembered as an attendant at the meeting of the Women's club of N. E. Iowa, held in this city last year, and at that meeting gave evidence of vigorous mentality. The causes for divorce are not stated, and the papers in the case are withhold from public inspection. A West Union dispatch says:—
The plaintiff was brought to the court house on a wheel chair, which was the first that people of this community knew that she was physically disabled. She asked for no alimony, only that her maiden mime be restored.
