1916 Wedding

Miss Edith McDaniels and Mrs. Wm.
Sprague were united in marriage on
Sunday afternoon, Jan. 23 at 2:00 at
the home of the bride's parents northeast
of the city.
Rev. Chambers, of the First Christian
church of Oelwein. was the officiating
clergyman, and the ceremony
took place in the presence of the immediate
families of the high contracting
parties.
The residence was prettily decorated
pink and white being the color scheme.
The bride was attired in white and
carried a beautiful bouquet of roses.
A sumptuous wedding dinner followed.
The groom resides on a farm west of
the city, where the young couple will
make their home. They are well and
favorably known and congratulations
are extended.
