Married, in the Catholic church at
Fairbank, last Tuesday morning at
nine o'clock, by Rev. Father Hogan,
Mr. Wilson Kolb, of Oelwein and Miss
Jessie Corcoran, of Fairbank. The
bride wore a dress of black silk, trimmed
with beautiful embroidery and
the groom was dressed in the customary
black suit. J. N. Kolb, a brother
of the groom acted as groomsman and
Miss Maggie Coughlin, of Independence
acted as bridesmaid. After the
bridal ceremony the party went to the
home of Mr. and Mrs. B. Redding
where they partook of a fine wedding
dinner, and at 1:14 the newly
couple took the train on Maple Leaf
route for Chicago where they will
visit relatives for a couple of weeks,
after which they will return to Oelwein
and make this their future home.
Mr. Kolb has a nice new residence on
college hill all ready for his bride on
their return and they will have a
pleasant home.
