Falk, L., farmer, Section 23; PO Randalia; owns 200 acres of land, valued at $25 per acre; born in Germany in 1821. Married Elizabeth Krug in 1856; she was born in Germany in 1832; have seven children --- John G., William N., Leonard, George, Fred, Eva and Charley; Barbara died at the age of 9 years. Mr. F. came to America in 1854 and located first in Kane Co., Illinois and in 1858 came to Banks Township, Fayette Co., Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. F are members of the Lutheran Church.
