Doyle, Martin, farmer, Section 28; PO Waucoma; born in Ireland in 1819 and came to this country in 1849, visiting several states; settled in Jo Daviess Co., where he resided until 1863, when he removed to Wisconsin, and lived until he came to this county in 1868 and settled on his present estate of 135 acres, valued at $25 per acre. Married Bridget Conann in 1856; she was born in Ireland in 1829; have four children living -- Daniel, Margaret A., Patrick, and Mary; lost four children, all whom died in infancy. The family are members of the Catholic Church.
