Finch, Eugene, farmer, Section 28; PO Waucoma; born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1848. Married Jane Pitts in 1870; she was born in Illinois in 1848; have four children living -- Edgar, Theron, Max and Norman; lost one child -- Clara. Came to this county with his father Lewis P. Finch in 1853, who died in 1873. He married Mary Rowe; she was born in Broome Co., New York in 1813 and is still living on the homestead; they had eleven children, seven of whom are living --- Ophelia, Calista, Salestria, Eugene, Dorr, Day and Hattie. The family are among the early settlers in this town and county; has a farm of 220 acres, valued at $20 per acre.
