Harris, Jeremiah, farmer, Section 25; PO Eden; born in Albany Co., New York in 1835. Married Mary Frederick in 1870; she was born in Switzerland in 1833. First settled in Winnebago Co., Illinois, where he lived until 1969, when he came to this county, where he has since resided; settled on his present estate in 1876; has a farm of 520 acres, valued at $25 per acre. Is President and Director of the Patrons Joint Stock Co., Township Trustee and Treasurer and is well known throughout the county.
