Jach, John, farmer, Section 20; PO Brainard; owns forty acres of land; born in Prussia, Feb. 2, 1822; came to Ohio, near Cleveland, in 1852; lived there eight years; then came to Westfield township; he has lived in Fayette County ever since. Married Caroline Switzer Sept. 2, 1855; she was born Hanover, Germany, March 14, 1832; they have had eight children; two died in infancy; the living are John Jr., born July 22, 1857; Caroline, born June 30, 1859; Henry, born April 18, 1861; Emma, born Nov. 23, 1864; Alvina, born Feb. 26, 1868 and Albert, born Feb. 2, 1872. Mr. And Mrs. Jach are members of the Lutheran Church.
