Moser, Fred, firm of Shorie & Moser, dealers in livestock; PO Elgin; born in Switzerland, Sept. 17, 1849; in 1855 came to Bremer Co., Iowa; in 1856, came to Buchanan Co.; in 1859, returned to Bremer Co.; in 1867 came to Pleasant Valley; he owns a house and lot in Elgin, and an interest in two other houses and lots. Married Elizabeth Baumgartner, Oct. 22, 1872; she born in Switzerland, Feb. 1854; have three children --- R. A., Louis and Sarah.
