Wilson, Christopher, farmer and stock raiser, Section 9; PO IIlyria; born in county of Durham, England, October 26, 1823; came to this county July 28, 1852. Married Jane Morris in 1846, born in England, died August 20, 1872; mother of seven* children --- Anna, William, Morris, Judith, Christopher, John, Joseph, and Mary. For his second wife, he married Rachel Davis; born in Wales May 11, 1831; mother of one child -- James, born April 12, 1877. He has 342 1/2 acres of land valued at $8,000.
