Robertson, James, farmer, Section 29; PO Sumner; owns 215 acres of land, valued at $20 per acre; born in Scotland in 1843; came to America in 1851 and located in Rock Co., Wisconsin and in 1855 came to Banks Township, Fayette Co., Iowa. Mr. R. has been Town Trustee, School Director and other town offices. Is a member of the Presbyterian Church.
