Sidnam, J. W., farmer, Section 8; PO Sumner; owns 295 acres of land, valued at $25 per acre; born in Onondaga Co., New York, in 1830. Married Amanda Mott in 1851; she was born in Portage Co., Ohio in 1830; have four children --- Charles W., Francis M., Almer E. and William O. Came to Iowa in 1864, and located in Banks township. Mr. S. has been Supervisor four years and held other town offices.
