Abott, P. G., farmer, Section 18; PO Bethel; owns 200 acres of land, valued at $25 per acre; born in Concord, N.H., Feb 14, 1830. Married Emily Palmer in 1856; she was born in Fairfax, Vermont, Jan 25, 1836, and died May 11, 1873. She had been a member of the Congregational Church seventeen years. Have had six children and five are living --- Walter H. died in infancy; Almenda J., Reuben M., Justin P., Arthur P., Henry W. Mr. Abott come to Fayette Co. in 1855. He has been Justice, Assessor and occupied all the town offices. Is a member of the Congregational Church.
