Burwell, Mrs. L. A.; P.O. Bethel; owns 90 acres of land, valued at $25 per acre; born in Grand Isle Co., Vermont in 1830; maiden name was Niles. Married Mr. Burwell in 1848 and came to Fayette Co. in 1867, and located in Bethel. Mr. Isaac Burwell died in 1868. She has two children --- Myran A. and Willie S. Mrs. B. is a member of the Congregational Church.
